Close your eyes and picture this…Your miles away from the chaos of the city, floating free through the crisp cool air of the Merriweather Post Pavilion. Your favorite musicians are dancing around you, making your heart race with your favorite tunes. Your mouth is being stuffed with roasted caramel ice-cream and hand prepared meals from local farmers. Does this sound like a sweet life?

Well…you better pay attention next time your invited to the Sweetlife Food & Music Festival at the MPP in Columbia, Maryland, it’s fucking awesome! Seasick Mama played two packed shows at the 9.32 Club on Saturday and was arguably the heaviest rock show in the line up. High-fives to the fans who sat front row and took the bass waves like champs.

The Sweetlife Festival was such a killer opportunity, here are some important shout-outs to the people who made it memorable!

ROUND 2: THE HOUSE OF CREATIVES COACHELLA

The House of Creatives was able to celebrate the Coachella festivities for a “round 2″ weekend. This time around, the HOC crew hit up all the exclusive events and also hosted an earth day brunch the ACE Hotel with SHFT.com! Thank You Sarah Roa for DJing such an wonderful event.

Sunday was such a killer day! After the brunch, we stuck around for The Do-Over event, listening to hip-hop, sipping champagne, and dancing in the pool with new friends. The Do-Over team always seems to throw such high energy parties! Everyone was smiling.

After The Do-Over splash, we headed to hang with Thom Yorke of Radiohead at the Rolling Stone Rock Room with Milk Studios and FAM-NYC. Thom Yorke made a special appearance to DJ the event, which was small and personal under the California sky. (NO SHAME was thrilled to get up close and chatty with the Radiohead frontman)

Overall, Coachella was such a great experience for Seasick Mama & the House of Creatives team and we look forward to returning next year with bigger and better opportunities! See you next year Indio. Thank You NO SHAME for sponsoring such a wonderful trip in Los Angeles. Xxoo.

Seasick Mama & the HOC crew want to personally thank the great state of California for hosting one of the coolest music festivals we have EVER attended. The organization was just impeccable. A 2 Pac hologram, holy shit. Endless corn-dogs, yum. And, and, and, the ROSTER, jesus christ, it could not get any better.

Through-out all of the mayhem, some of the best times was back at the House of Creatives crib with the Black Banditz. They are one hell of a crew and they are going to be sorely, sorely missed when we depart.

After being scammed in a Craigslist house rental, Seasick Mama & the House of Creatives team shacked up at the Beverly Hilton for the month of April. (Ralph Freed, we are still after you, you little pebble poop.)

The month is just about half-way over and tomorrow the crew is off to Coachella to celebrate music, fashion, and lifestyle. Things have been incredibly high-energy in Los Angeles and is about to reach a new level out in the desert. Parties, parties, parties.

Anyways, we just wanted to say WHAT’S UP. We are all still alive. Our lives do not suck.

DESTROYING BROOKLYN BOWL
